Making our rings

Yesterday we travelled to St Ives to make our wedding rings. We bent, soldered, hammered, buffed, filed and cut our little bits of metal until they looked at least vaguely wedding ring shaped.

You'll have to wait to see the final outcome but we are rather pleased with our efforts.

Our instructors frequently commented that one of us seemed to have a natural affinity for making jewellery and really ought to pursue it further...

...and the other one...

...not so much.

Pine Cones

The boys suits have arrived from M&S and are the perfect fit and look so cute! Mum and Auntie Jenny have been busy making the wedding cake. The first layer is done, just the second to go and lots of feeding with brandy! We are on the look out for pine cones now for table decorations so If you see any could you collect them please!!

We' ve finalised the ceremony now and all the music. Just got lots of things to pay for now!

Wedding Crazy!

Since last post it has gone wedding crazy! We have arranged to go and make each others wedding rings at Stedman Felder Jewellers in St Ives (highly recommended) next week. Made and sent out all but a couple of invites. So pleased they are done now! Sorry if you are still waiting for yours! Ben has bought a very dashing 3 piece designer suit to wear. The boys' are on order. We've also written our vows and chosen the readings. We've chosen the music for the ceremony.

I don't know what we'll do with our evenings when the wedding is over! Sleep probably!! We are beginning to receive a few replies now so thanks to those people.
